Article Marketing Strategies
Valley Farm, West Wratting

Took a lunchtime recce to figure out how to get near to the new Camgrain grain silos I pass each day at West Wratting. Now to find a better vantage point of the gorgeous stainless steel grain storage towers.

How to Make Money Online With an Article Marketing Strategy
Article by Martin Broad
There are many ways to make money online these days. Whether you are an affiliate marketer promoting other people’s products or a small business owner looking to increase customer numbers, one thing is for sure – you need to drive traffic to your promotional website. Using an article marketing strategy is a great way to make money online and the following tips can help ensure that your article marketing is effective in targeting the right people.
Use the best sites – There are a number of article directory sites that allow users to submit and publish articles in an attempt to make money online. In fact, there are so many that it can sometimes be hard to know which ones to use! The industry standard is Ezinesarticles.com, although another preferred favourite of mine is Goarticles.com. Ezine has stricter submissions standards, but can present articles higher on Google than many other sites.
Choose topics carefully – To make money online with an article marketing strategy, you need to know what people are typing into search engines. This will help when selecting a title and topic to write about – writing a piece on a topic that gets high search results tends to generate more traffic than an article on an unpopular topic. The use of a keyword tool can greatly improve your marketing strategy by revealing which search terms are typed in frequently.
Rewrite pieces – If there is a particular search term that works well in an article marketing strategy by driving traffic and helping you make money online, why use it only once? If certain articles are being read more often with higher click through rates than others, it is a good idea to rewrite them. Ideally, a thoroughly thought out marketing strategy that will make money online should include around ten rewrites of each well-performing title or subject. If a lot of people clicked through on that search term before, they will again!
Practice and persevere – It is easy to get disillusioned when trying to make money online. Results can often be a long time coming, and even the best kind of strategy will not produce profits overnight. The important thing to remember is to test and change your strategy. If you are trying to make money online and are finding that articles are just not bringing customers to your website, adapt the way you write. Try different subjects to write about and read other guides on implementing article marketing. Flexibility and the desire to learn new things are both important character assets in anyone wanting to make money online.
article marketing strategies question by Dick Whitman: Any advice on link sharing strategies?
I just started a marketing position with a dot com and we’re going to implement a link sharing plan using either Commission Junction or LinkShare.
I’ve never done this before and I’d love to know of any good books/articles on the subject.
Thanks

Commission Junction and Linkshare are affiliate advertising providers; they are not necessarily involved in link sharing.
They signup advertisers looking for publishers willing to use pay per action programs — a scheme where advertisers only pay when the action defined by the advertiser (e.g. signup, purchase or sale, lead) occur.
On the flip side, they find publishers willing to promote their advertisers’ products in exchange for a commission, which can be anywhere from $ 1 per lead or 20% of the sale or whatever commission structure defined by the advertiser.
If your boss wants you to deal with CJ or Linkshare, then it’s either that you will be a pay per action advertiser or publisher
